About Sandra

Sandra ClarkeSandra was born in Tooting, South London in 1947 in her grandmother's Victorian terraced home. Life was challenging from the start as Sandra was born with both hips dislocated and spent many of her early years in hospital. The Oval children's hospital in Kennington was Sandra's home for three years. She was too young to know any different; to her it was normality.

Encased in a full body plaster from her chest to the bottom of her legs, like a trussed up chicken as her Nan joked, Sandra was entirely immobile for the duration of her years in the hospital. When Queen Elizabeth's coronation took place she was the only child who couldn't make it outside and instead watched the procession from the hospital window.

It was a traumatic time not only for Sandra but also for her family, and her Nan couldn't bear to visit and see her beloved granddaughter so incapacitated. Her Nan was psychic and had seen visions of Sandra long before she was born. She refused to speak of these dreams, however, as the saying goes 'Do not speak of your dreams before lunch on a Saturday'.

Sandra knows that her own spiritual journey began during that time in hospital, and she clearly remembers at four years old being a very scared little girl, mostly due to not understanding what was happening to her, at least not until she was much older. She would regularly see and hear spirit children around her hospital bed, and her little world in the room was often swimming with orbs of light.

Above Sandra's bed was a picture of who she now recognises as Christ, and this picture was a source of great comfort to her. When she was afraid she would tilt back her head and gaze into the picture, and it would be surrounded by a bright white light. Sandra would ask to be made safe and would feel and immediate sense of relaxation which allowed her much needed sleep and rest.

Sandra has always understood that there is more than meets the eye to this world but her family always considered her 'a bit weird'. While nobody would knowingly choose the things Sandra endured during her early life, she recognises that her journey in this life, including all these hardships, has made her a much stronger and more understanding person. Her aim in this life has always been to help as many people as possible through times of grief. Sandra understands the worst kind of grief a person can suffer; that of losing your own child. She knew from the time that her son Darren was born that he would leave this world before she did, though he still draws close to her from time to time.

Over the years Sandra has seen the absolutely amazing sight of spirit with her own eyes many times, but she didn't begin to do actual spiritual 'work' until she was in her early 50's, when Spirit guided her to move to Worthing on the South Coast, the place where it all took off. She was invited to sit in a Circle and taught by a lovely couple, Pamela & Patrick Caudell, who helped her to develop her natural clairvoyant abilities. She will always be thankful to these teachers.

Sandra has now been doing platform work for the past 6 years and has enjoyed every minute of it. She takes her work very seriously and is very passionate about helping people in this way, by reuniting them with loved ones who have passed to Spirit. Sandra’s main passion is to work for local charities and to help others in need of help. Sandra has made some great friends during her spiritual journey.

Sandra says:

"I do know that I am here for a purpose and I do know that I have had past lives, I have seen myself in Egyptian times and also Victorian times. I put all of my trust in Spirit and have never been let down by them. When I work I am very down to Earth; I am who I am! I always speak in my South London accent with a bit of cockney. I am married and have four sons, the eldest of who is in Spirit. My second eldest was born in Australia and the youngest two were born in New Zealand. I have 10 grandchildren, the eldest being 22 and the youngest being 6. My gran had over 60 grandchildren when she passed at the age of 93 and I was the first of those 60 to be born. She was actually a Great Great Gran before she went to Spirit and she was like a wonderful friend to me. I spent many a weekend with her and these are some of my greatest memories. I know I have a lot of her qualities in me!"
